This is one of those times I wish Yelp had 10 stars. I have used a number of chiropractors over the years and have felt relief from all of them - although sometimes it has taken quite a few visits to feel the benefits. Dr. Brisley's technique is fast, efficient and absolutely painless. 5 years of lower back pain were gone in an instant along with eliminating my stiff neck and arm suffering from a pinched nerve. I feel great after my first visit and can't wait to go back. Thrilled, I am just thrilled with the results.
I have never been to a chiropractor before seeing Dr. Brisley. I have one leg longer than the other one and shoulder tension, stiff neck. I have tried acupuncture, years of massage and pain killers. Nothing worked in the past, it was only managed until the next frozen shoulder week of pain so bad I couldn't sleep. Then I saw a segment about this on the Dr. TV show. It really does work. Dr. Brisley gave me my life back. I had an accident on stage performing in an arena rock concert in Marseilles, France in 1996. I was diagnosed with a Cervical Fracture (Broken Neck). Severe pain persisted and loss of sensation. After multipul MRI's, MRA's, EMG's and CT Scans, came Surgery, Traction, Collars and Physical Therapy. Since 1997 after multiple neurosurgeons I was still living in pain. I was introduced to Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic in July 2011 What I'm about to write is as unbelievable to me as it may be to you. Dr. Brisley relieved my acute pain in one session. No joke. I had a difficult time believing and understanding what she had done to me. I've gone back for more adjustments and my range of motion is almost as good as before my accident. My neck and back feel as though they are working as the human body intended it to.. My wife has commented on the flushness in my face the clarity in my eyes, energy and overall wellbeing. I absolutely, unequivocally believe in Dr. Brisley and Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. For acute people out there like myself. You don't have to live like that anymore. Dr. Brisley spelled backwards is miracle.
I had been to one chiropractor years before; when she said she could cure cancer, I quit. I've had a stiff and sore right shoulder for ten years or so and stiff, sore neck most of my life. Accupuncture helped, but massage was the only thing that worked - but relief was temporary. Yoga has helped, but like massage, never for long. Looking back, I realize that I have had a low-grade but constant headache for years. While in theory, I believe chiropractors aren't quacks, until I met Dr. Brisley, I wasn't convinced. After the first adjustment, I knew something was different. My neck is better than it has ever been and my headache is gone. My shoulder is much better and improving. I have more energy now that I'm not fighting neck pain and a headache day in and day out. Get the treatments, but make sure you do strength building exercises to help your body stay in alignment. I'm a believer now. I'll still do massages with the exercise so that my muscles can help keep the spine in alignment.
I highly recommend Austin Atlas Orthogonal and Dr. Brisley. I've been living with chronic neck and back pain for more than six months. During that time, I've been to a traditional chiropractor and my primary care physician without finding any relief. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Austin Atlas Orthogonal. Treatment does not consist of cracking the neck or back like traditional chiropractic. It uses a device that causes a percussion wave to realign the atlas vertebra, which is completely painless and non-invasive. I am on my second month of treatments and am realizing wonderful results. Not only has my pain diminished significantly over the course of the treatments, but also I have more energy and a huge decrease in sinus headaches. Through this process, I've learned how many of ailments could be caused by the misaligned atlas vertebra. I have telling anyone who has neck or back pain about this treatment and Dr. Brisley. If it saves anyone from living with pain or having to endure invasive surgery, then it's worth it.
